Episode 2, "The Zelda Remake Eve," is live now. This one is all about two legendary releases landing within about a day of each other, and why both of them are doing nostalgia right.
First, the Zelda side: The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time returns on Thursday, November 5, 2026, exclusively on Nintendo Switch 2, completely rebuilt from the ground up. This is not a simple port. Major cutscenes are now fully voiced — Zelda, Saria, Darunia, Ruto, and Ganondorf all speak, while Link himself stays silent, exactly as he should — there is a jump button, the game runs at 60 frames per second, and it comes in at about 27 GB. There is also a brand-new Hall of Fallen Foes, where you can rematch bosses you have already defeated, and yes, Dark Link is back in the Water Temple. Geeked gets into why Ocarina of Time taught an entire medium how to do three-dimensional adventure, and why Thursday is the perfect chance — whether you played it in 1998 or never played it at all — to find out what everyone has been talking about for almost three decades.
Then, Wednesday belongs to Azeroth: World of Warcraft: Forever launches globally on Wednesday, November 4, at 6:00pm ET on PC and Mac through Battle.net. Access is included with an active World of Warcraft subscription or game time — no separate box, no early access, no head starts. Everyone starts at level one at the same moment. Blizzard is positioning Forever as a third permanent World of Warcraft, standing alongside modern WoW and Classic: the original Azeroth, reimagined and expanded, with a level cap of 60, more than 1,000 new quests, nine new dungeons, new zones like the Riverglades and Mount Hyjal, and six new race and class combinations. No WoW Token, no paid boost, no shortcut to the top. And if you have a character name you have been holding onto, name reservation closes Tuesday, November 3 — the day before launch.
Put it together and you get one of those weeks you will remember: Wednesday evening, a fresh world where everybody is lost together; Thursday, a return to Kokiri Forest in the best version of Ocarina of Time that has ever existed. Geeked's advice? Do not overthink it. If Zelda was your childhood, go home Thursday and let the music do what it has always done. If Azeroth was your second home, log in Wednesday evening and enjoy the chaos of a fresh start. And if you are new to both — what a week to show up.
