10 New Consumer Technologies to Watch This November

November has arrived, and the tech world is not slowing down for the holidays. From Apple's huge product week to a new OLED gaming handheld and Samsung's latest tablets, here are 10 new consumer technologies for your radar — and maybe your wishlist.

  • Apple iPad mini with A20 Pro — from $699. Apple's smallest tablet finally goes OLED, with an 8.5-inch display, an A20 Pro chip, and water resistance, arriving November 6. Wi-Fi starts at $699, cellular at $849.
  • Apple 14-inch MacBook Pro with M6 — from $1,999. The base Pro gets Apple's new M6 chip with a 12-core CPU and GPU, Wi-Fi 7, and up to 24 hours of battery life, also arriving November 6.
  • Apple 24-inch iMac with M6 — from $1,499. Apple's colorful all-in-one joins the M6 party with a gorgeous 4.5K display, and it lands November 6 too.
  • Apple MacBook Pro with PROLED XDR touchscreen — from $2,899. A different beast entirely: Apple's first touchscreen Mac pairs a PROLED XDR display with M5 Pro or Max power, from $2,899 for 14 inches or $3,399 for 16 inches. Do not confuse it with the M6 model.
  • Apple HomeView — $299. Apple's smart display and home hub brings Siri AI and facial recognition to your countertop or wall, with sales starting November 13. Note: the wall mount is sold separately, from $59.95.
  • Apple iPhone Duo — $1,999. Apple's first foldable launched October 23. Fair warning: hinge-crack reports surfaced soon after, and Apple acknowledged a small number of affected units on October 26.
  • ROG Xbox Ally X20 — $1,299.99. ASUS and Xbox's anniversary handheld swaps in a 7.4-inch OLED screen, keeping the Ryzen AI Z2 Extreme chip, 24GB of memory, and 1TB of storage. It lists at $1,299.99 at Best Buy, though stock has been spotty, so check before you buy.
  • Samsung Galaxy Tab S12+ and S12 Ultra — from $1,199.99 and $1,399.99. The 12.6-inch Plus and 14.6-inch Ultra both run a MediaTek Dimensity 9500 chip and include an S Pen, making them serious laptop-lite contenders.
  • Samsung Galaxy Buds On — $229. Samsung's first clip-on, open-ear earbuds leave your ear canal open so you can still hear the world, with head-gesture controls and 9.5 hours of listening, arriving in early November.
  • Sony ECM-AX10 — $249.99. Creators, take note: Sony's spatial-audio microphone plugs into USB-C phones for richer video sound, though the full 4K workflow in Sony's app is not due until December 2026 or later.

That is new tech as November kicks off: OLED everywhere and AI in everything. Which of these ten has your attention? Tell us in the comments!
