Phantom Blade Zero Is Out Today — S-GAME's Wuxia Epic Hits PS5 and PC

The wait is over, nerds. Phantom Blade Zero is out today, October 29, 2026, on PlayStation 5 and PC (via Steam and the Epic Games Store), and it might just be the boldest action RPG of the year.

Developed by Chinese studio S-GAME using Unreal Engine 5, Phantom Blade Zero is a single-player action RPG steeped in traditional Chinese martial arts, wuxia storytelling, and classic Hong Kong action cinema. The studio calls its world Kungfupunk — a striking blend of old-school martial arts, machinery, dark fantasy, and folk horror.

You play as Soul, a warrior framed for the murder of his master and left with a damaged heart and just 66 days to live. Hunted by his former allies, Soul has to unravel the conspiracy behind his master's death while cutting through assassins and all manner of dangerous enemies. It is a setup dripping with drama, and the ticking clock gives every fight real weight.

Combat is the star here. S-GAME has built the game around fast, fluid, cinematic swordplay, with more than 30 weapons and over 20 secondary weapons known as Phantom Edges. Defeating powerful enemies lets you claim their weapons and signature techniques, so your arsenal keeps growing as the adventure goes on. If you love action games where mastering the moveset is half the fun, this one is built for you.
