The wait is almost over. Rockstar Games has released the launch trailer for Grand Theft Auto VI, giving us one final look at Vice City before the game arrives on November 19, 2026 for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S.
The 90-second trailer puts the spotlight back on protagonists Jason and Lucia, a modern-day criminal duo whose partnership drives the story across the sun-soaked state of Leonida. This time we get our best look yet at The Keys, an area that had barely appeared in earlier footage, alongside heists, police pursuits, and a helicopter escape that goes sideways.
The trailer also confirms the game's musical direction in a big way. It debuts 'Flower in a Hurricane' by Justice, featuring Tame Impala, SZA, and King Gizzard & the Lizard Wizard. Justice are composing multiple in-game themes for GTA VI, with original tracks set to be collected on a forthcoming album tied to the game.
Here is what is confirmed right now:
- Release date: November 19, 2026 (PS5, Xbox Series X|S)
- Pre-loads begin: November 12, 2026
- Price: $79.99 / £69.99
- Setting: Vice City and the wider state of Leonida, including The Keys
- PC version: Not announced. Reports point to early 2027, but treat that as rumor for now.
This is the first mainline Grand Theft Auto in 13 years, and with just over a month to go, the question is no longer whether the date holds. It is whether the finished game delivers on everything these trailers have promised. We will be watching.
