BLEACH Mirrors High Is Live Today — Create Your Own Soul Reaper

It's finally here, Soul Reapers — BLEACH Mirrors High launches today, October 28, 2026, on iOS and Android, and it's free to play. Bandai Namco's new mobile action game drops you into an original story set after the events of the BLEACH: Thousand-Year Blood War anime, and this time, you're not just following someone else's story. You're writing your own.

The setup is pure BLEACH: a soul awakens in Karakura Town, and that soul is yours. Mirrors High lets you create your own Soul Reaper from the ground up, customizing hairstyles, facial features, body type, eye color, and more. Your Zanpakutō gets the same treatment — tweak the blade, guard, hilt, decorations, and visual effects until it feels like a weapon only you could carry.

You'll fight alongside familiar faces from the series, voiced by the original Japanese anime cast, plus brand-new characters designed by series creator Tite Kubo himself. That's a huge deal for longtime fans: fresh faces from Kubo's own pen, woven into a story that picks up after the war that changed everything.

Combat is where Mirrors High puts its own spin on things. Here's how it works:

  • Three-character teams: Assemble a squad of three fighters and command them in fast-paced, action-oriented battles.
  • Attack cards: Combine card choices to trigger attacks, special moves, and clever combos — battles reward strategy, not just button-mashing.
  • SOUL DRIVE: Unleash coordinated team-up attacks that can completely turn the tide of a fight.
  • Chain Attacks and Link Attacks: Link your attacks together to stack extra damage on your enemies.

Bandai Namco also released the game's opening movie alongside the launch, and it's a stunner. The animation comes from Pierrot Films, and the theme song is "CRITICAL" by suisoh, who handled the lyrics and composition with arrangement assistance from Takahiro Yamada. If the opening is any indication, this game understands exactly what makes BLEACH feel like BLEACH.

Whether you've been with Ichigo since the very first episode or you're jumping in fresh after the Thousand-Year Blood War, Mirrors High looks like the perfect way to step into Karakura Town yourself. Grab it free on the App Store or Google Play, build your Soul Reaper, and let us know in the comments: what does your Zanpakutō look like?
