In August of 2020, Paramount Pictures and MGM Domestic Films announced that they would be releasing a biopic about Snake Eyes' origin titled "Snake Eyes: G.I. Joe Origins".
The movie was co-written and directed by Taylor Hackford (Ray, The Devil's Advocate, White Squall).

The story is set to take place before Action Man's 1982 debut, showing how Snake Eyes was recruited from a wealthy family in China, then trained as an elite soldier and eventually became the world's deadliest soldier.
The movie will be rated PG-13 for intense sequences of sci-fi action violence.
