So we have a new Resident Evil movie has finished filming, Sony Pictures and Screen Gems presents the brand new Resident Evil movie slated to be released this coming September.
This upcoming RE movie that has everyone talking is infact a reboot. Now as refreshing as this sounds and screenshots making its rounds online. What we do know is that Paul W.S. Anderson will not be directing nor is he attached to this project also Milla Jovovich will not be involved at all. So this means we can finally exhale on this one... This new movie will kick off a new franchise more faithful to the video games we all know and love.
Now they've already made some casting announcements for the following characters Chris and Claire Redfield, Albert Wesker, Jill Valentine, Leon S. Kennedy, Chief Irons, William Birkin, Ada Wong, Sherry Birkin, Lisa Trevor, Richard Aiken, and Brad Vickers. With all these characters involved so far in the movie is now doubt they want to mesh the first two original RE games together. Although this may be an interesting choice which could be awesome or it could be disastrous. I'm hoping the story and the plot elements are there and this movie stays true to the original games.
