The rush in the production of the anime made the makers have the limited amount of source material. The story and everything is no different from the light novel. But still, it is far better than the Knight’s & Magic which made an episode whole on the basis of the full novel.
Now, the makers of the series have to focus on plot and character so as to draw more attention of the viewers and increase fan following. Three volumes of the light novel are already covered in the first 12 episodes.
And we all know that the light novels are up to 10 volumes which is more than enough content for the makers to start the production of the second season of the series. The content is available in such amount that they could also make the third instalment of the series. It is also a possibility that the second season might consist of 25 episodes.

The episode 12 of the tv series suggested fans that the production company just want to continue the story. The last episode featured Touya meets a major new character by which the makers are teasing that the light novels will be used for the content.

Touya as of now had been seen as an unstoppable force who keeps wondering about the fantasy world. He does not have any enemy nor goals. But now, in the second season, you will see he has both.
There will be an enemy called the Fraze. And the inter-dimensional boundaries between the different worlds are straining and Babylon has developed the weapons to take down Fraze. These special weapons are known as Frame Gears which simply means the Knight’s & Magic will suddenly get a competition with the release of the second instalment of the series.

Plot
15-year-old Touya Mochizuki is accidentally struck by lightning and killed by God. As an apology, God allows him to be reborn into a fantasy world along with a single special request. Touya uses his request in order to bring his Smartphone into the new world with him. God also amplifies Touya's physical, magical, and mental prowess to a certain degree as a further apology for the inconvenience of killing him. Taking full of advantage of his second chance at life, Touya befriends many different people in the new world. He begins to travel from country to country, solving political disputes, minor quests, and nonchalantly enjoying himself with his newfound allies.
