There is always too much talk with marvel but as a DC girl I'd like to make sure we don't leave DC behind. Like Marvel, there are many films coming to DC comics in 2021 which include the BATMAN, BLACK ADAM, THE SUICIDE SQUAD. I will go into detail on each one with other films coming soon.
First up is the BATMAN which is due out in March of next year and will have some well know actors such as Joaquin Phoenix and Robert Pattinson. The next film we have will be BLACK ADAM which is estimated to come out July 2019 from the Marvel universe but could be a little sooner if we are lucky since it's being made by the wizkid himself: Ava Duvernay who has directed A Wrinkle in Time, Selma, and 13th (among others).
Following is the SUICIDE SQUAD which is estimated for late 2020 and could be pushed back to 2021 if we are lucky. The film will probably have a mix of new actors and directors while continuing to hold onto the old ones. And finally is AQUAMAN 2 which will most likely be released in December of 2022.
The Black Adam will be produced by Will Smith and Joel Silver and will go into production in the early 2020s after the Suicide Squad. The cast will include Will Smith, Joel Silver, Joe Morton, and possibly Dwayne Johnson as Black Adam himself.
All of the DC Super Pets films are set to be released on May 20, 2022. The first is Wonder Dog and features him saving children from a fire. The second will be about Turbo and his evil plan for world domination that includes puppies, kittens, birds, hamsters, and more to try to take over the world. The third film is set to be about a fish called Thomas who loves talking on the phone but his girlfriend takes away his phone when she wants to make him less cool-like like Aquaman.
We also have some DC animations coming which include Superman: Red Son, a brand-new Batman story animated movie which will be directed by Joaquim Dos Santos, and a film about Robin: the Teen Wonder.
I personally would love to see more DC movies but as all of you know it's all up to the people who decide to make them. We can have things we want such things as Diana Prince's origin story, more origins on the Al Ghul family and many others. I personally would love to see that! It would be interesting and awesome if she got her own film not just in Justice League but on her own.
